NEPTUNE BEACH, Fla. — The school of the day is Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Duval County.
Duncan U. Fletcher High is a comprehensive high school serving students in ninth through 12th grades.
According to the school's website, Duncan U. Fletcher is named for the senator who has the longest serving record in Florida's history for the U.S. Senate, from 1908-1936. The school first opened on Sept. 20, 1937 and moved into the current building on Seagate Avenue in 1964. The original building was then used as Fletcher Junior High.
The school's vision statement is " to provide a high quality education in every classroom, every day to ensure our students have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential in college, a career or in life."
