WARE COUNTY, Ga. — School in Ware County is closed for the remainder of the week, the school district told First Coast News Monday, due to the "after-effects of Hurricane Helene."
Ware County Schools said the 'Central Office' will be closed for the remainder of the week, too.
"We will reassess the situation on Friday, October 4th to determine if we can safely resume school operations on Monday, October 7, 2024," the school district said in a statement. "Please continue to check social media, our website, and Thrillshare for the most up-to-date information."
