JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A teacher at Westside High School is under investigation for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a student, state investigators have confirmed.
The Florida Department of Children and Families is looking into the allegations and interviewing students and staff along with the unidentified teacher, agency spokesperson John Harrell told First Coast News.
Marsha Oliver, a spokesperson for Duval County Public Schools, confirms that an employee at Westside High is the subject of a professional standards investigation, but would not confirm the nature of the investigation.
