Woman charged after Glynn County officers say she fired into Dock Junction home

DOCK JUNCTION, Ga. — A Georgia woman received several charges after a shooting Sunday morning, according to the Glynn County Police Department.

Just before 5 a.m. Sunday, Glynn County Police officers responded to a shots-fired call at Breckenridge Drive in Dock Junction. Officers learned shots were fired into an occupied home and officers identified 28-year-old Taylor Steedley as the shooter, police said in a release. Firearms were confiscated, the agency said.

Victim information was not released.

A search of Steedley's Johnston Street home and vehicle yielded a firearm, ammunition and various controlled substances, the release said. Steedley was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, discharging a firearm near a public roadway. Additional charges are pending, according to the agency.
