'Will do again' Ware County woman arrested after viral video kicking cat

Police say Kate Murphy was charged with animal cruelty, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct stemming from a Dec. 30 incident in Ware County.

WARE COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia woman has been arrested following a viral video showing her kicking a cat on Dec. 30.

Kate Murphy, 21, was charged with animal cruelty, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors. She was arrested and bonded out on Dec. 31, according to the arrest report.

In a since-deleted post, Murphy responded to a post with the video, stating "yep. I did that. Tired of her feral animals killing my livestock. Will do again and will eliminate the problem altogether next time they are on my property."
