JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for two suspects they say are related to arsons in Jacksonville.
At least one of the two suspects was involved in two incidents, police say.
The first incident police are investigating happened on the early morning of Nov. 23 in the area of North Main Street and 43rd Street East. A man told JSO that he found a broken bottle on his front porch near a "burned area," and police found another bottle, which they identified as a Molotov cocktail.
Surveillance video of the area shows a suspect "lighting an instrument" and throwing it toward the victim's home, JSO said.
The second incident they are investigating occurred on Nov. 25, also in the early morning. It occurred near Main Street and Tallulah Avenue.
Two people were seen on surveillance video approaching a small structure and lighting a "Molotov cocktail type of weapon" and throwing it at a home, causing an explosion. The two people then threw another similar weapon at the home and caused another explosion. They then fled on foot.
