CRESCENT CITY, Fla. -- Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a bank at gunpoint Monday afternoon.
According to a release from the Putnam County Sheriff's office, deputies responded to the Bank of America in the 900 block of North Summit Street in Crescent City, to assist the Crescent City Police Department with a reported bank robbery.
Two males suspects allegedly entered the bank wearing masks, armed with handguns and demanded cash from bank tellers. The suspects were given an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has since been asked to take over the ongoing investigation.
