JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office responded to a person shot in the 4600 block of Bankhead Ave. around 11 p.m. Saturday.
Prior to officers arriving, one male drove himself to a local hospital after sustaining one gunshot wound to the back and is in critical condition, JSO said in a release. A second man was taken from the scene to a local hospital after sustaining multiple gunshot wounds to his arm and torso, but he's in stable condition.
The sheriff's office said a dispute occurred that resulted in both males being shot. Officers said the shooting is an isolated incident and there is no further danger to the community.
