VIDEO: Thieves steal Orange Park man's truck from his driveway, use his credit card

Joseph Fulir and his neighbors pulled footage from their Ring doorbells and other cameras showing the thieves in action. They hope someone recognizes the pair.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. — Security cameras captured the moments thieves stole an Orange Park man's truck right out of his driveway earlier this month.

They’re also accused of stealing his credit card and using it at businesses down the road.

Joseph Fulir and his neighbors pulled footage from their Ring doorbells and other cameras showing the thieves in action. They hope the hard evidence will lead to an arrest.

You can see a woman walking from house to house, trying to open all the vehicle doors nearby just after 3 a.m. on Dec. 1.

About three hours later, a man quietly pulls the truck out of Fulir's driveway.

He said he woke up that morning to a notification on his phone about a recent credit card charge.

"I didn't think anything of it,” Fulir said. “I swiped left, put it down, went to the bathroom and walked back. Went out to walk that morning at 6, and that's when I discovered my truck was missing."

He lives close to the Duval-Clay County line and filed reports with the Clay County and Jacksonville Sheriff's Offices.

CCSO is investigating the stolen vehicle, and JSO is investigating the credit card fraud. They haven’t released any information about potential suspects.

Immediately, Fulir started reaching out to neighbors, who were eager to help.

"We had over eight or nine videos between our four houses in there,” Fulir said. “They all helped out tremendously. They were a little taken aback too, and it scared some of them too because they saw their handles getting pulled on as well."

He admits he left his keys in the truck on accident the night before.

“I was grabbing groceries the night before,” Fulir said. “I usually hit the lock on my door pad to lock it. My hands were too full. I walked in the house and that was it."

Fulir wants others to be aware, and he has a message for the thieves.

"We have a lot of good footage on you, short of you smiling,” Fulir said. “I think we're going to get you, and I think we'll have the last laugh."

Fulir said he got a replacement truck Wednesday.

If you know the people in the video, you're asked to call police. You can submit a tip to JSO by emailing JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org or calling 904-630-0500 or calling CCSO at 904-264-6512.
