PALM COAST, Fla. -- Five teens are facing charges after they allegedly broke into a Palm Coast middle school Saturday.
Flagler County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested five out of seven juvenile suspects Monday in Palm Coast for breaking into the Indian Trails Middle School on May 3, according to a release from the FCSO.
The teens, aged 15 to 17-years-old, were captured on surveillance video over the weekend, forcing open doors to classrooms and a laundry room, the FCSO release detailed. The suspects allegedly vandalized a bathroom before they made off with money, snacks and two basketballs.
The five juveniles in custody are charged with felony criminal mischief, burglary and petit theft.
"Charges have been submitted to the State Attorney's Office for the two remaining youth," said Corporal Don Apperson with the FCSO School Resource Unit.
