JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A teen is recovering after he was shot while walking along Southside Boulevard Sunday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Around 9:50 a.m., officers responded to a local hospital after they were notified that a male teenage victim was receiving treatment for a gunshot wound.
When officers arrived, the victim said he was walking down Southside Boulevard when an unknown person shot him.
The victim did not provide police with any additional information and the scene of the shooting was not located.
Police said the injury to the victim's foot was minor.
