Police say suspects in custody after shootings injures 2 victims in Kingsland

The two people injured were taken to Jacksonville area hospitals, the Kingsland Police Department said.

KINGSLAND, Ga. —

Two people are injured and two arrested after a shooting Tuesday at a Kingsland mobile home complex.

At approximately 7:40 pm Tuesday evening, the agency received a report of gunshots and a vehicle in a ditch near the entrance to the Camden Point Mobile Home Park., a KPD press release said.

Officers found a silver sedan near the mobile home park that had sustained several bullet holes, and a gunshot victim in the back of the car

This person was provided medical attention and taken to a Jacksonville hospital, police said.

Another gunshot victim arrived at the Southeast Georgia Health System Camden Campus and claimed to be involved in the Camden Point shooting. They received medical attention and were transferred to a Jacksonville hospital.

Police said a preliminary investigation has led to the identification and arrest of two suspects. 

The investigation is ongoing, the agency said. The Camden County Sheriff’s Office and St. Mary’s Police Department assisted with the case.
