The suspect reportedly got into an altercation with a police officer from Georgia.

One person is in custody after a high-speed chase ended at a Walmart in Macclenny on Wednesday, according to the Baker County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect, preliminarily identified as Patrick O'Neal Guest of Titusville, reportedly got into an altercation with a police officer from Georgia.

The pursuit included speeds of over 100 miles per hour across multiple interstates, Florida Highway Patrol said. Stop sticks were used to try to slow the Quest.

The pursuit ended at the Walmart at Interstate-10 and Highway 228 in Macclenny after the suspect crashed into a semi truck, FHP said. Quest reportedly bailed on foot towards the Walmart entrance but was stopped by police.
