GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A man is in custody stemming from a Brunswick gas station attack that left a man unconscious and seriously injured in May, police said.
On May 25, the Glynn County Police Department said the victim, who was travelling to Florida, was assaulted and suffered broken bones to his face, a broken nose and injuries requiring six stitches above the eye at the Sunoco Gas Station located at 2764 U.S. 17.
The GCPD Major Crimes Unit's investigation identified the suspect as Glynn County man Corey Burnett. Burnett was arrested June 21 on a charge of aggravated battery and was later booked into the Glynn County Detention Center.
