JACKSONVILLE, Fla — One person is expected to be OK after he was shot in Jacksonville's Westside Tuesday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The victim told police he was shot by an unknown person in the parking lot of the Lane Avenue Food Store at 1585 Lane Ave. S. The victim then fled to a nearby apartment complex at 1591 Lane Ave. S. and called police, according to JSO.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
