A teen is recovering in the hospital after being shot in the Sherwood Forest area of Jacksonville Thursday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
JSO said the shooting happened in the 9600 block of Spottswood Road West around 4 p.m., but they were called to a local hospital in reference to a person being shot.
They found that a teen was shot and recovering in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
