A man is recovering Thursday night after he was shot in the Argyle Forest neighborhood, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO said the shooting happened around 8 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot, located in the 7000 block of Collins Road and involved two men. One of those men had a knife and the other had a gun, police said.
The man with the gun reportedly shot the man with the knife, police said. He was then transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The other man who reportedly had a gun was taken into police custody. JSO said they consider him to be the suspect of the shooting at this time.
No damage was done to any surrounding properties and no witnesses were harmed during the shooting.
