JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman is in critical condition after an unidentified suspect(s) shot into her home with her inside of it Thursday morning in the Longbranch area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers responded to the 1100 block of Claudia Spencer Street shortly after midnight and found the woman had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
The unidentified woman was taken to a local hospital.
JSO's Sergeant Scott says the sheriff's office investigation will be relying on interviewing witnesses and gathering video surveillance to determine whether the incident was a drive-by shooting. This is an active investigation.
