CHARLTON, Ga. — A 78-year-old father in southern Charlton County is believed to have been shot by his son Tuesday, according to Charlton County Sheriff Robert Phillips.
Phillips said the father and son got into an argument at a home on Jack Field Lane in the Moniac community, when the shooting happened. The father died as a result of the shooting, Phillips said.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations is investigating the case. They are not releasing the identities of the father or son at this time.
