The Jacksonville Beach Police Department believes there are more incidents that have not been reported.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. β€” A man is facing charges in connection to a series of burglaries in Jacksonville Beach, the police department said in a news release Sunday.

Around 6:30 a.m., Jacksonville Beach Police Department officers were notified about a "suspicious person" in the backyard of a residence in the 1000 block of 2nd Street North.

Officers located a suspect, identified as 44-year-old Brandon Boyd, leaving the property.
