Police searching for suspect after multiple Westside burglaries, JSO says

JSO said the burglaries, where police say the suspect also approached women before fleeing on foot, occurred in the San Juan Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard area.

JSO said the suspect has been involved with burglaries near San Juan Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect after a series of burglaries reported on the Westside, using "unsecured accesses" to enter homes and approach women.

The agency said the suspect is believed to have entered multiple homes recently in the San Juan Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard area. 

After entering the residences, police said the suspect has "intentionally engaged" with women in the homes, but after being seen, the suspect tends to leave the area on foot.
