Police raid at St. Augustine home yields 6 arrests, multiple drug charges

Six people were arrested Tuesday in St. Augustine and are facing charges ranging from narcotics possession to possession of methamphetamine.

Six people are facing charges ranging from narcotics possession to possession of methamphetamine after Flagler County deputies raided a home Tuesday in St. Augustine.

After SWAT arrived at the home off of Tanger Road near Royal Road Park, neighbors reported finding needles in their yards and a high flow of traffic of people and cars in and around the home.

After a search warrant was served, six people were arrested by the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

The suspects are Joseph Paul Barta, 48, Stephanie Sheree Edenfield, 44, Deborah Sue Green, 53, James Thomas Green, 56, Patricia Anne Ryan, 66, and Joseph Paul Vespucci, 35, according to SJCSO.

The charges include:

  • narcotics possession
  • resisting arrest
  • possession of ammunition by a convicted felon
  • tampering with evidence
  • possession of controlled substances without a prescription
  • possession of methamphetamine
  • violation of probation
  • possession of drug paraphernalia

All six suspects were booked in the St. Johns County Jail.
