JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man and woman were shot during an argument "amongst multiple known individuals" Wednesday night in Northwest Jacksonville, according to the sheriff's office.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Sergeant Dishman says at approximately 11:45 p.m., patrol officers were called out to the 11500 block of Holton Lane in reference to the man identified as 52-year-old Jessie Wilson, and woman identified as 35-year-old Sherri Smith, who were shot.
When officers arrived, Wilson and Smith were taken to UF Health hospital with non-life-threatening injuries; they were both shot during the argument once.
JSO has not released a description of a suspect or suspects.
