JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is recovering after an argument ended in a shooting on Jacksonville's Northside early Sunday morning.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, officers responded to the 800 block of Broward Road at approximately 12:10 a.m. Sunday in reference to a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located a man in his late 30s suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. The suspect was also found at the scene.
According to JSO, the shooting was a result of a domestic argument.
Police said the gunshot was non-life-threatening due to a "lack of bullet penetration" and the victim was taken to the hospital.
Detectives were on the scene conducting interviews and gathering more information.
