JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for two suspects caught on camera in the murder of Harold 'C.J.' Patterson, who was killed at the age of 16 on Sept. 4.
Patterson was found dead from gunshot wounds behind a vacant house on Edgewood Avenue West and Avenue B.
JSO says he was hanging out with friends when they were approached by two suspects.
"An altercation occurred between those present, at which time one of the suspects produced a firearm and began shooting at the victim and those with him. The victim was subsequently shot multiple times, leading to his death," JSO wrote in a press release.
A photo of the suspects is attached below. Police describe the first suspect as in his upper teens, 5'9 with a thin build, short hair, braces on his teeth with no rubber bands attached. He was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants with white stripes on the side and black Crocs.
The second suspect is in his upper teens, 5'7 with a thin build, medium-length dreads with tight twists and "blonde/red" tips, and tattoos on the side of his neck and on his hand.
