JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting in Arlington near Terry Parker High School on Wednesday.
JSO said a person was shot in the 7200 block of Parker School Road at the Johnson Town Homes around 8:00 p.m.
When JSO arrived at the scene a female victim was found with a gunshot wound to her upper chest area, police said.
Police said the victim was then taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not identified a suspect and are still interviewing witnesses related to this incident.
