JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man was found shot to death in the Durkeeville area early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
About 1 a.m., a passerby discovered a man's body along W. 6th Street and Barnett Street, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Police said they had received calls of gunshots in the area earlier in the evening.
JSO identified the man as 40-year-old Joseph Martin.
