FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — A Georgia man who was on parole for burglary was arrested again during a traffic stop in Bunnell Monday. He was found with a pink .22 caliber short-barrel rifle, meth and other drug paraphernalia, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office said.
Nathan Tanner, 22, was discovered with the illegal items when he was pulled over for a traffic stop on State Road 11.
Police decided to search the car because there was drug paraphernalia "in clear view," and the car smelled like marijuana, according to FCSO.
While arresting Tanner, police say they discovered narcotics in his shirt pocket.
Then, when he was taken to jail, they discovered he was hiding a glass pipe "in his groin area."
He is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a short-barreled rifle, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony violation of parole.
After allegedly bringing the pipe into jail, a charge of "introduction of contraband into an inmate facility" was added.
His bond is set at $91,000.
