GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A man is facing charges after a string of golf club thefts from a St. Simons Island business, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
On Monday, investigators identified Justin Perkins, 32, a former employee of the business, on surveillance video stealing golf clubs and other equipment.
Police said the thefts resulted in $5,950 worth of items stolen in three separate incidents between May 18 and May 26.
Perkins confessed to the thefts after police issued a search warrant at his residence and showed him the surveillance video.
He faces multiple charges including two counts of burglary and ten counts of theft by taking, according to police.
The stolen items were recovered and police said will be returned to their owners in the coming days.
