Photos, 911 calls document the moments after Jacksonville 13-year-old Prince Holland's death

The State Attorney's Office released thousands of scene pictures and several 911 calls nearly a year after the 13-year-old was killed in a drive-by shooting.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The State Attorney's Office has released almost 2,000 pictures of evidence and the scene where a Jacksonville teenager was shot and killed on his way home from football practice.

It’s been almost one year since 13-year-old, Prince Holland, was killed in a drive by shooting on Jacksonville’s Northside.

Pictures show the red Mercedes SUV Holland, his football coach, and three other victims were riding in when it was shot in a drive-by shooting.

The SUV was riddled with bullets. Pictures also show more than 20 evidence markers next to shell casings on the street near the SUV.

One of the teens, who was not hurt, called 911 after the shooting.

“Somebody rolled up on us and shot us," the victim said to the 911 operator.

While on the phone with the operator, the teen said he left the scene with his 11-year-old teammate, who was shot in the back.

Police reports say the mom of the 11-year-old victim was on the phone with her son at the time of the shooting.

Police say the mom rushed to the scene and took her son to try to get help.

But she eventually went back to the original scene where rescue was.

“They said ambulance is on the scene go!” the uninjured teenager said on the 911 call.

“Is he [11-year-old victim] still breathing, sir?" the operator asked the teen.

“Yes, he’s [the 11-year-old victim] still breathing,” the teen said on the phone.

“Okay, please take him to the intersection where the ambulance is at. So, they can take him to the hospital," the operator said.

“Okay, they said they’re there," the teen said.

Marcel Johnson and Kentrevious Garard are charged with killing Holland.

Police say Holland’s death was the result of tension between rival street gangs.

First Coast News reached out to the State Attorney's Office for an update on the condition of the coach and 11-year-old but is waiting for a response.

Johnson's pretrial date is Nov. 27.

Garard's pretrial date is Nov. 30.
