WAYCROSS, Ga. — A person was injured after a shooting at a Walmart Neighborhood Market in Waycross Saturday evening, according to Waycross Police Chief Tommy Cox.
Cox confirmed to First Coast News that the shooting happened at the Walmart Neighborhood Market located at 1630 Plant Ave. Saturday. It is unclear if the shooting happened inside or outside the store.
Cox said one person was shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Cox said this was not an "active shooter" situation, adding the incident was domestic-related.
Police issued warrants for a man in connection with the shooting. Investigators are searching for Reginald Corey Rawls, 54, for aggravated assault and several weapon-related charges stemming from the shooting.
