JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was shot inside of a residence in the 9700 block of Tapestry Park Circle on Jacksonville's Southside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's office.
JSO's Sergeant Robbie Hanson with the Homicide Unit says police arrived to the scene of the shooting around 1:15 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival, officers found a man in his mid-20s with at least one gunshot wound. The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The identity of the man was not released by police.
JSO says it appears the man and the shooter knew each other and that this is an isolated incident. Hanson says all parties involved were taken into custody and are being questioned by police.
