JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man was shot on the Northside early morning Saturday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
At approximately 3 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 10800 block of Harts Road for a person shot. They contacted the victim, a man in his late-20s, who was suffering from a single gunshot wound, the agency said. The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
JSO's initial investigation revealed "multiple unknown individuals arrived at the incident location" who shot several times in the victim's direction. JSO could not confirm if they all fired at the same time.
Crime scene detectives are processing the scene for evidence and Violent Crimes detectives are canvassing the area for witnesses and video surveillance, the agency said.
