A man was hospitalized and is in serious condition after being shot in the chest Monday morning. Jacksonville police said he was shot by a coworker when the two were fighting about the work schedule. Police were called to the 10000 block of Granite Place at about 6 a.m. for a report of a shooting. The victim was taken to the hospital and the shooter was taken into custody, police said.
Names of the suspect and victim were not given. The victim is a male in his mid-20s and the suspect is a male in his late 30s. Police did not say where and for whom the men worked.
