GLYNN COUNTY, Ga. — A man is facing murder charges after a deadly shooting Saturday night in the Dock Junction area, according to the Glynn County Police Department.
Police said around 8:23 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting near 9th Street and Pine Street where they located a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the roadway.
First responders arrived on scene to render aid to the victim, identified as 35-year-old Bobby Harris, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators identified the parties involved in the incident, and executed search warrants at hotel rooms which led to the discovery of "pertinent evidence" for the investigation.
Police arrested Sheldon Wright on charges of felony murder, malice murder and intent to distribute cocaine in connection with the deadly shooting.
"Further arrests of individuals associated with the crime are anticipated," police said in a release.
