JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man died after he was taken to the hospital with "at least one" gunshot wound Saturday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
The police responded to the area of 4200 Melrose Avenue on the city's Westside at 2 p.m. They found the victim near the road.
JSO said the investigation is very early on and could not share any additional information. The only identifying information provided was that the victim was an adult man.
