Man caught on video shooting at St. Johns County home is rapper Nardo Wick's brother

One neighbor was so disturbed by what occurred he organized a march with other residents to Nardo Wick's family's home. "They're clout chasing," his manager said.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — New information has been revealed about the man who was caught on video last month shooting at a St. Johns County home.

The man in the video, Hayward Biggins, 29, remained in St. Johns County jail Monday on no bond and is charged with shooting into an occupied home on Wye Road on March 14, an arrest report states. He's also charged with attempted armed burglary. His next court date is Thursday.

Biggins is the brother of rapper Nardo Wick, whose real name is Horace Bernard Walls III. Biggins is pictured in multiple Instagram posts on the rapper's page, and he's in a handful of Nardo Wick's music videos. Biggins' arrest report states his occupation as "rapper" and his Instagram account under the name @tonywickkk has multiple pictures of him with his brother.

A no-contact order was filed with the St. Johns County court five days after the shooting, barring Biggins from any contact with the two occupants of the home, First Coast News has learned.

A homeowner in the neighborhood who knows the victims said they are still shaken up after the shooting and are in the process of moving out of the home.

"The tenants were pretty happy living there for the few months ... they moved in in December, no issues, they really loved the house until this happened," the homeowner said.

First Coast News is not revealing the name of the homeowner due to safety concerns.

"They can't live there because they are traumatized, they've been sleeping in a hotel for the last few weeks," the homeowner said.

Ring camera footage of the shooting shows someone who appears to be Biggins walking up to the home and attempting to open the front door. After realizing that the door is locked, the video then shows the person ringing the doorbell, turning around and kicking the door, pulling a gun from his pants, then firing off a shot.

The shooter then backed away from the home while he tucked his gun away, turned in the opposite direction, and headed to the left as the video ended.

No injuries were reported, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office. The homeowner said the bullet came through the door, hit the floor, and penetrated into the ceiling while one of the occupants was walking to the door.

"It almost shot him in the head," the homeowner told First Coast News.

Biggins moved into the home next door to the victims the day before the shooting, the homeowner said. Family members were already living there when he moved in, and Nardo Wick has been seen at the home, according to the homeowner.

One neighbor was so disturbed by what occurred, he attempted to organize a march with other neighbors to Biggins' home. However, the march was called off after the homeowner told the group that wouldn't be a good idea.

First Coast News is not revealing the name of the neighbor due to safety concerns.

"We had a community meeting regarding this incident," the homeowner said. "I had to stop people marching to his house, that's how angry the neighborhood was. Someone was trying to call a news crew to come in and give everybody an interview, I said, 'No, that's a bad idea.' And also, they were going to have like 50 families marching down to the house, I said, 'You can get literally, legally shot.' I definitely feel the need of protecting our neighbors."

First Coast News reached out to the sheriff's office asking if they were aware of the residents' frustration and planned march to Nardo Wick's family's home. A sheriff's office spokesperson said she wasn't able to speak on the specifics of the case.

Nardo Wick's manager told First Coast News that the rapper and his family "had nothing to do with Hayward's actions and the shooting had nothing to do with Nardo Wick."

"They clout chasing because of the incident," his manager said.
