JSO: Man accused of stalking, threatening Jacksonville TikToker arrested

The victim, who asked to be identified as Helena, says Ayo Rosh Eniwaye, 31, made threats to kill her on her TikTok page.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man accused of sending threats to kill a TikTok star in Jacksonville was taken into police custody Friday, months after the victim met the suspect at a Shell gas station, spurring unsolicited messages and harassment on social media.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office opened an investigation after reports that Ayo Rosh Eniwaye, 31, started sending inappropriate messages to a local social media influencer, who asked to be identified as Helena.

Months before an investigation was opened on Dec. 30, 2023, Helena said she met Eniwaye at a Daily's gas station on Sept. 4 where he worked, after he made several attempts to get her attention.

Police said this included yelling at Helena and taking her phone to follow himself on social media.

Helena told police within minutes of meeting Eniwaye, he started sending her multiple sexually inappropriate messages, and would not stop.

According to court records, Helena said Eniwaye sent her direct messages on Instagram asking if he could strip in front of her.

After she refused and asked to never be contacted again, Helena said the messages continued, escalating in severity, and days after her first encounter with Eniwaye, she started to get unsolicited comments on her social media posts.

On Sept 7, Helena received the following messages from the account "Acknowledgeyourself" on TikTok:

  1. "Be on the lookout and always watch your surroundings because someone's coming to get you."
  2. "I'll ghost you and burn your whole house down,"
  3. "Watch yourself and be cautious and make sure your always looking over your back. Someone is going to get you."

After continuing to receive unsolicited messages, Helena was granted a temporary injunction for protection against Eniwaye on Sept. 11, 2023, and a final injunction was made permanent at the end of November.

Helena stopped going to the gas station to avoid seeing Eniwaye, fearing he may discover where she lived, police said.

Even after the injunction was requested and served, police said Eniwaye then created several TikTok accounts and continued to threaten Helena's safety - including making threats to kill her.

Court documents show Helena's "Full log of events with Ayo Eniwaye" where she listed a total of eight fake TikTok accounts she believed to be operated by Eniwaye, including the account "Acknowledgeyourself"

She said she received more than 79 threats total from all the accounts since her initial encounter with Eniwaye on Sept. 4, according to court records.

In the past few weeks, police said Helena started receiving more threats from new accounts she believed to be run by Eniwaye. JSO said the account referenced where Helena lived and publically listed her address, adding he planned on coming to visit her.

After an investigation, police said they identified Eniwaye as the source of the continued threats against Helena, and served a search warrant on Friday at his San Marco apartment.

Eniwaye faces charges of aggravated stalking and violation of a stalking injunction and is being held in Duval County Jail.

His next court date is scheduled for Feb. 20 at 9 a.m.

Anyone with additional information on this incident, or other incidents that could be related is asked to contact JSO's non-emergency number at (904) 630-0500.

Editor's note: This story previously said the victim met the Eniwaye at Daily's gas station, where the suspect worked. According to Eniwaye's arrest report, he worked at a Shell gas station.
