Terise Powe is about one year in on his 12-year sentence for a gun charge. As he's preparing for a murder trial, it appears that he's only calling one witness - Noah Williams.

Powe, who raps under the name Kshordy, is affiliated with the gang Wawg, or Bully Gang. Noah Williams, also a rapper, is affiliated with the gang 1200. He's most noted for the viral song, "Who I Smoke."

The two are rivals, or as they'd refer to each other - ops.

Williams was in a car that Jacksonville police said Powe shot up on Sept. 28, 2021. In the car with Williams were Dasaun Williams, who performs under the name Greenlight, and another man named Xavier Mays, known as 187 NoFace, or BMG Zay.

Noah Williams and the two other men were sitting in a Dodge Challenger outside Raceway gas station on Lenox Avenue when a black Range Rover Evoke pulled up and opened fire on them.

Noah Williams and Dasaun Williams ran into the gas station. Mays was left behind and died from a gunshot wound to the head.

After the Range Rover sped off, Noah and Dasaun went back to the Dodge Challenger and drove Mays to the emergency room where he was pronounced dead.

Jacksonville police investigators were on the lookout for the black Range Rover Evoke. They spotted one the following day in the Woodland Acres community. The Range Rover sped off and crashed into a pole following a brief chase.

The occupants got out of the vehicle and ran away. Officers gave chase and caught them.

The following day, JSO's gang unit spotted a similar vehicle while surveilling the Woodland Acres community.

Officers pursued the Range Rover which sped off. It crashed into a pole and the occupants exited the vehicle and attempted to run off.

Investigators caught the occupants. They were identified as Powe, Zhacobe Sykes, and Lorano Span, a rapper who performs under the name La Cracka.

Powe and Sykes are both charged with murder and attempted murder. Span was initially charged but is no longer facing charges in theshooting.
