JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A woman was shot in the shoulder while inside of a home on Jacksonville's Northside Thursday night, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
JSO's Sergeant Scott said around 11 p.m., officers responded to the home located on Monaco Drive. He adds that prior to officers arriving, the woman took herself to a local hospital, as she suffered a single non-life-threatening gunshot.
Police say the suspect in the shooting is "unknown," and believe the incident is isolated.
