JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is recovering after a shooting on the Eastside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers responded to 1200 E. 1st St. about a a man in his early 20s shot around 10 p.m. Friday. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, a gunshot graze to the abdomen, police said. He was later released.
The agency's initial investigation determined that the victim was shot while inside of an apartment and there are three people detained who were in the apartment. It is unknown what their involvement is until they are interviewed, JSO said. The cause of the shooting is also unknown.
