Man injured in shooting in Northwest Jacksonville

Police said a man in his early 30s arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot in Northwest Jacksonville Saturday night.

JSO said officers responded to the 1900 block of West 26th Street after receiving a ShotSpotter call around 9:25 p.m.

While investigating the area, police said a man in his early 30s arrived at a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers are still early in their investigation and have not identified a suspect at this time.
