JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they said wielded a hatchet when asked to show he bought items at a business.
JSO responded to the 9000 block of Southside Boulevard due to a reported armed robbery Monday. The name of the business was not released.
The suspect entered the business and filled a shopping cart with merchandise, police said in a release four days later. When the suspect was asked to provide proof of purchase, he brandished a hatchet and exited the business.
He then fled via a gray Dodge Charger, according to JSO.
