JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two firefighters were rushed to a local hospital after they were reportedly stabbed in the Springfield neighborhood Tuesday night, according to JFRD Union President Randy Wyse.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the stabbing happened in the 10000 block of Boulevard Street. Officers were called to the scene at around 10 p.m., JSO said.
Once at the scene, officers found two victims stabbed. Both were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
JSO said one suspect was taken into custody and that there is no threat to the public.
A motive for the stabbing was not disclosed.
