JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is recovering after he was shot in the torso as authorities look for a suspect, police say.
The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. at 2000 Kings Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his torso. He was taken to a local hospital and is in non-life-threatening-condition, police said.
JSO's initial investigation revealed the victim was shot by an unknown suspect, who fled the area on foot.
