JSO asks for help finding car that hit Jacksonville Air Force veteran

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding the car that hit Jacksonville veteran Robbie Roberts. If you know whose car this is, call 904-630-0500.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding the car that hit Jacksonville veteran Robbie Roberts.

The 53-year-old Air Force veteran was hit by two cars while crossing the street at the Normandy Boulevard and Lenox Avenue intersection on Oct. 22.

While the second driver stayed at the scene, the first one left the scene. Police say it appears to be a Nissan Juke or similar car. The pictures are attached below.

The driver is described as a 50-year-old man with gray and white "medium-length" hair, JSO said. He fled the scene going eastbound on Normandy Boulevard. He was seen with a passenger, who was a white female.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is continuing investigative efforts into a Hit-and-Run Crash that occurred at the Normandy Boulevard and Lenox Avenue intersections in the early morning hours of Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

Roberts is currently on life support and her family is pleading for justice.
