JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police need help determining what happened before a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds was dropped off at a Jacksonville hospital.
What police know is that around 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday, police were notified that someone had come into a gas station and asked for water, claiming that he had a gunshot victim in the back of his car. When he got the water, he left.
Around 10 p.m., the 23-year-old was dropped off at a Jacksonville hospital with gunshot wounds to his torso and his arm.
Police believe it could have happened on the city's Westside.
"Right now, we really need the public's help on this case," JSO Sgt. Karen Dukes said.
