JSO announce arrest of 22-year-old in connection to 2023 Northside murder

Officers responded to a victim shot in a car around 4:10 a.m. at the 1600 block of West 45th Street on June 29, 2023.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —  Police said Thursday that an already incarcerated man shot and killed a man on the Northside almost a year prior.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to reported gunshots around 4:10 a.m. in the 1600 block of 45th Street on June 29, 2023. Patrol officers found the victim, 35-year-old Quynn Robinson Sr., in a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

From the investigation, the suspect was identified as 22-year-old Briyhon Johnson. On Thursday, Johnson, was arrested on murder charges.

 He was incarcerated at the Pre-Trial Detention Facility since January on several charges, according to JSO's inmate records.
