JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Three people are in custody after officers served a search warrant at a Southside apartment complex Friday afternoon.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Community Problem Response Unit and SWAT Team recovered "illegal drugs and guns" when they executed a search warrant at Lakeside Apartments, near Southside Boulevard and Baymeadows Road, the agency said.
Police said there is no danger to the public. Police still maintained a heavy presence at the complex around 1:30 p.m.
The investigation is ongoing.
