JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — JSO responded to two men shot in Oakleaf Saturday afternoon while the agency is searching for a subject.
Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to 9600 Argyle Forest Blvd. about a man and a juvenile male. They were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The man suffered gunshot wounds to both arms and the abdomen and the juvenile victim suffered gunshot wounds to the back and leg, according to JSO. Both victims underwent surgery.
The agency determined the victims were at a nearby apartment complex at 9800 Crosshill Blvd. While the victims were in their vehicle, an unknown suspect discharged a rifle, striking the victims.
The victims fled to a nearby medical clinic and were taken to local hospitals, according to JSO.
There is currently no suspect description, the agency said. The investigation is ongoing.
